CrimeHalo only publishes information that a government or police source has already made public. This registry records exactly which dataset each record comes from, the basis CrimeHalo uses it under, and what the source does and does not provide.
CrimeHalo is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, operated by or endorsed by any police department or government agency. Availability and freshness are separate: a city can be fully open on CrimeHalo while its agency still publishes on a delay.
